Wednesday night

I was in to see Carole tonight, and she is not sure what is going on with recent talk of a daypass for a visit home.

We would need a few days to get ready for such a visit, and I am not certain it is the best idea given that she seems to need the oxygen?

I will call Caroline (the social worker) Thursday and see what she is saying.

We would all love to see Carole get to spend some time at home if she wants to, but I know that I am not comfortable with that happening unless we can have the proper care for her there.
As of now, we do not.

I'll post when I find out more.

Tonight was a confusing night to say the least...I have no idea how we got from Friday's meeting where it was flat out stated that Carole was not going to be allowed home without 24 hour care and only if she stabilized to all of a sudden as of 2:00 today Caroline the social worker is telling Carole that she is going to let her go home for a couple of hours tomorrow as a trial and then for a few days - to which Carole replied that she did not feel ready for this. she looked good when I first got to the hospital, but as soon as we got to the 7th floor, she got extremely nauseous, threw up and felt hot and chilled - not good. I did feel that there were some strong, and some confusing moments and I'm not sure if there's just too much going on or if there are still signs of confusion, but I am very nervous about even the possibility of Carole going home right now and being away from the oxygen for any extened period of time...this may sound confusing because I'm really tired right now.
